About Lilly Astar
Personal transformation and evolution have been major driving forces in my life for well over a decade.
My self-healing quest has guided me to study with many teachers in many forms. The most profound teacher I’ve discovered is within. It is through walking hand in hand with my inner teacher and my own willingness to grow and change that I learned, persistently practice, and expertly navigate the art of transformation with and through Truth, Integrity & Beauty.
Self Study & Shamanism
A perpetual student and transformation devotee, I persist in exploring my own potential for expansion by working with numerous teachers, guides and mentors. I have training and applied personal experience in Yoga Asana & Pranayama, Meditation, Emotional Alchemy, Theta Healing, Sacred Sexuality, the energetics and application of inner Masculine & Feminine work, Archetypal Exploration, Dakini Embodiment, Shadow Work, Ritual and Ceremony, Conscious Communication & Sacred Relating, and Energy Flow to name a few. I’m currently studying Human Design and the Gene Keys.
In the Spring of 2021, I completed a Shamanic Energy Medicine Certification from the world-renowned Four Winds Society where I studied the convergence of "ancient wisdom and modern science" with founder Dr. Alberto Villoldo. This intensive program was created by Dr. Villoldo, a medical anthropologist, Shaman, and best-selling author, to bring Shamanic wisdom to the new Shamans. In learning/remembering the tools of a Shamanic Guide, I deepened my own healing journey, expanded my knowledge base, and answered an undeniable call to be of service.

Living An Extraordinary Life
In a former extraordinary lifetime, I enjoyed a 15 year long career as an Art Advisor, enthusiastically bridging the art and business worlds.
At the beginning of 2019, I embarked on a year and a half long self-initiative solo journey around the world. Visiting 15 countries in 14 months, I lived the seeker’s life, learning how to navigate my humanity as a spiritual being.
With the global reset of 2020 my travels concluded. I returned to my hometown of Houston, Texas, and integrated the wisdom of my travels in stillness, study and solitude. I emerged from my hermitage in the Spring of 2021 with a celebratory solo road trip through the Southwestern USA. It was on this journey that I found my new home, Taos, New Mexico.
I returned to Houston to further pare down my belongings and pack up. Shortly before I left Texas, I met my fantastic partner Cory.
Cory and I are now living an extraordinary, conscious, love-filled life in a tiny casita in Taos, New Mexico where I lovingly and enthusiastically serve as a bridge between the seen and the unseen worlds.

Lilly Astar, is a transmitted gift of Truth from my Spiritual Self.
Indicative of the Shaman within who walks between the worlds of the seen and unseen, Lilly Astar is an expression of my Cosmic nature as an Earthly being.
Lilly, my Earthly nickname, was given to me as a child by my Mother, my Earthly point of origin. Lilly holds deep reverence for the seen and trials of being human.
Astar is my Soul’s name inexorably linked to my Cosmic point of origin as a being of light. Astar knows the boundless magic of the unseen and the infinite interconnected wisdom of the Universe.
In choosing and embracing the name Lilly Astar, I embody more of my Truth.
My given name, another facet of my Truth, is Adrienne Johnson.

I do not believe in one-sided truth or the kind of beauty that sees only love & light.
Love & light have their place, AND when we bypass the denied aspects of life and ourselves, we deny all Truth (with a capital T).
Truth isn’t always easy or comfortable, but if it were, it wouldn’t be Truth.
Truth & Beauty come with the courage and willingness to dig into discomfort and find Beauty in the discarded, rejected and shunned.
Integrity is NOT perfection. In fact, Integrity is IMPERFECT.
Integrity is rooted in unwavering dedication to Truth & Beauty, especially in the face of challenge.
The Integrity container I work within is a radical and ever-evolving authenticity. I hold space for and honor human imperfection and vulnerabilities (including my own) with gentleness, kindness and acceptance.
